Paris, TN man arrested following pursuit in Calloway County

A Saturday night pursuit led to the arrest of a Paris, TN man in Calloway County.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said around 11:55 pm they were notified by the Henry County, TN Sheriff's Office they had attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 23 year old Conner Z. Samuels of Paris when it fled into Calloway County.

Samuels' vehicle was located driving recklessly at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was attempted but the vehicle appeared to flee, eventually pulling over at a gas station on Hwy 121 South.

Samuels was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center on several traffic related offenses which included two counts of wanton endangerment.  A passenger in the vehicle was released.
