A pursuit on Wednesday night ended with a crash and the arrest of a Paducah man.
McCracken County Sheriff's deputy had turned on to Clarks River Road behind a motorcycle and according to the report, that prompted the rider to speed up and run a stop sign at the intersection of Clarks River Road and Bridge Street.
The deputy pursued, and the motorcycle operator, Robert Owen, missed a curve on Ted Williams Drive and crashed into a ditch.
Owen was checked out at the scene by an ambulance crew before being taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
Owen was charged with disregarding a stop sign, fleeing or evading police, driving on a DUI suspended license, no motorcycle license, no insurance, and other traffic violations.
