Reid named director of High School Instruction for McCracken County Schools

The McCracken County School District announced the appointment of Jon Reid as the new director of high school instruction. 

For the past 10 years, Reid has been the principal at Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary.
 
Reid began as a teacher at Mayfield High School from 1999 to 2001, and at West Jessamine Middle School from 2001 to 2008.
 
Reid was named assistant principal at Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary in 2008. In 2009, he became the assistant principal and instructional coach at Lone Oak High School.
 
In 2011, Reid was named principal at Heath High School, then assistant principal at McCracken County High School when it opened in 2013.
