Section of KY 1203 in Carlisle County to close starting Tuesday

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close KY 1203 at mile point 3.09 in Carlisle County starting Tuesday to begin work on a bridge replacement project.

The bridge over Gray Creek is located between KY 1022 and KY 1741, west of Bardwell, and is currently posted with an 8-ton weight limit.

The existing structure will be demolished and replaced with a new bridge. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by the end of December.
