Strong to severe storms could return Wednesday

Scattered thunderstorms are forecast to develop Tuesday afternoon in the north and west, then could sneak into more of the region during the evening and overnight.

On Wednesday, the greatest risk of widespread showers and thunderstorms peaks from the morning into the afternoon from west to east.

Additional strong to severe storms are possible, especially across southwest Indiana and western Kentucky.

All severe hazards are possible - wind, hail, tornadoes - and torrential downpours may also cause some flash flooding.
