Mayfield crash sends two to hospital

A Sunday crash in Mayfield sent two people to a local hospital.

The crash happened at the corner of South 9th and West Walnut Streets. Mayfield Police said an SUV driven by 45-year-old Susan Pugh was crossing the intersection and collided with a  pickup driven by 18-year-old Gabrielle Newberry.

Investigators believe that Newberry did not have the right of way at the time of the collision. 

Pugh and Newberry were both taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center to have minor injuries checked out.
