Symsonia man arrested after Graves County shooting incident

A Symsonia man was arrested following a shooting incident and standoff on Wednesday morning.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said reports of an altercation and gunshots being fired were called in from a mobile home park located off of KY 534, on Toy Circle.

Sheriff's deputies and Kentucky State Police arrived and determined that 39-year-old Todd A. Hutson had assaulted two individuals, and fired a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun. One gunshot was fired near a victim's head.

Hutson had retreated into a nearby mobile home and refused commands to come out.

After a nearly two-hour standoff, deputies entered the mobile home to take Hutson into custody. Hutson attempted to flee, but was apprehended.

Hutson is charged with assault, wanton endangerment, meanacing and resisting arrest.  He was taken to an out of county detention center.
