Three arrested in stolen vehicle in Calvert City

Three people were arrested Wednesday driving a stolen vehicle in Calvert City.

Calvert City Police said they spotted a vehicle make a U-turn along US 62 near the AmeriVu Inn. The vehicle then is said to have come to a stop in the median. Officers approached the vehicle, which reportedly had three people associated with it. However, there was no one in the driver’s seat. Police were able to see a pair of open alcohol containers in clear view, and a computer check showed the vehicle had been reported stolen.

Two of the men, 53-year-old Oscar Martiez Robledo and 22-year-old Eoldin Evan Gonzalas-Sanches, were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property less than $10,000 and alcohol intoxication. Those two also had ICE detainers placed on them.

The third individual, identified as Daniel Hernandez of Nashville, was arrested by Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies who were assisting.
