Tickets on sale for Empty Bowls Project of Paducah

Tickets went on sale Thursday for this year's Empty Bowls Project of Paducah.

Paducah's version of the worldwide annual event will be held Saturday, August 24 at the Julian Carroll Convention Center. After you purchase your tickets, on the day of the event you'll pick out your own hand-made bowl, walk around the room and have food put into it served by fourteen local restaurants.

Since the inception of the event, the Empty Bowls Project has raised over $200,000 for The Community Kitchen, whose daily mission is to feed the hungry of Paducah.
