Tip leads to Graves County woman's arrest on drug charges

A tip led to the arrest of a Graves County woman Monday on drug trafficking and other charges.

Graves County detectives searched a home on State Route 1283 after learning of possible illegal drug sales. The search reportedly uncovered 5 grams of suspected methamphetamine along with packaging commonly used to distribute drugs.

Fifty-nine-year-old Stephanie Carter was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to notify DOT of an address change.

She was taken to the Graves County Jail.
