Traffic stop nets fugitive from Georgia

A Tuesday traffic stop led to the capture of a fugitive from Georgia.

McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a pickup truck driven by 32-year-old Benjamin Robinson. Robinson had been entered into the National Crime Information Center database after being charged in Georgia with aggravated assault. A Flock camera hit alerted deputies that Robinson was in the area and helped them locate him.

Robinson was arrested and booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail to await extradition back to Georgia.
