Trigg County couple jailed after child found in road

Two Cadiz residents were arrested Friday night after a four-year-old child was found in the middle of a Trigg County road.

WKDZ reported the Trigg County Sheriff's Department was called to Liberty Point Baptist Church where the child was standing in the road.

Investigators went to the home of 28-year-old Robert Hart and 26-year-old Breanna Mason and discovered the back door open. They also found two other children strapped in car seats.

Mason and Hart were charged with first degree wanton endangerment and taken to the Trigg County Detention Center.
