Two injured in Trigg County head on collision

Two people were injured in a head on collision Tuesday morning in Trigg County.

The Trigg County Sheriff's Office told WKDZ the accident occured on Rockcastle Road near Mershon's Bridge just after 11:30 am. 

Investigators said 73-year-old John Lampman of Cadiz had a medical event while driving his truck and collided head on with a vehicle operated by 59-year-old Dana Waller also of Cadiz.

Both drivers were flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment.
