Volunteers sought for Cedar Pond restoration project in LBL

The Friends of Land Between the Lakes is seeking volunteers to help with a restoration project at Cedar Pond.

The Cedar Pond Restoration project will take place on September 17 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.just across the Tennessee state line.

Volunteers will assist with building wooden frames around picnic tables, improving overall accessibility, and reducing erosion.

All necessary supplies and lunch will be provided. Volunteers are only asked to bring a water bottle and closed-toe shoes.

Volunteers under 18-years-old are welcome with adult participant.
