WKEC gives update on Metalsa fires

Following a serious fire November 21st and another flare up Monday, some workers at Hopkinsville's Metalsa plant are not back to work.

WHOP Radio reported Executive Director of the South Western Kentucky Economic Devlopment Council Carter Hendircks provided an update on the situation Monday.

Hendricks credited the Hopkinsville Fire Department for their work during the two fires but added they are still containing it currently.  

He also stated the SWKEC is working with the displaced workers providing resources.
