Wanted Eddyville man behind bars after fire complaint

A fire complaint last week ended with a wanted Eddyville man behind bars and facing new charges.

Authorities responded to reports of an out-of-control fire on Rice Road.

At the scene, they found 35-year-old Christopher A. Hollingsworth. Hollingsworth was wanted on a warrant charging him with several counts of defrauding a secured creditor over $5,000.

In addition, he was charged with fire hazard season burning before 6 p.m.

Hollingsworth was taken to the Crittenden County jail.
