Wingo man jailed following Saturday night traffic stop

A Saturday night traffic stop led to the arrest of a Wingo man on various charges.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said Monday they conducted the traffic stop around 11:35 Saturday night after observing a vehicle travelling the wrong way on North 8th Street in Mayfield.

Deputies spoke with 32-year-old Ryan Renner of Wingo, who appeared to be under the influence and he was arrested on DUI charges.

Inside the vehicle numerous pills, drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine weighing approximately 3.8 grams and synthetic drugs were located. Renner admitted he consumed the synthetic drugs earlier in the day.

He was arrested on several drug related offenses, reckless driving and other traffic offenses.
