Woman rushed to hospital after Trigg boating accident

A woman was rushed to a hospital following a boating accident on Lake Barkley, near Bachman Turner Drive, in Trigg County Friday afternoon.

WKDZ reports that Trigg County emergency personnel say a 20-year-old woman suffered a leg injury from a boat propeller, and was found unconscious.

CPR was administered to the woman, and she was taken by Trigg County EMS to a hospital after helicopters were unable to fly due to weather conditions.

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife is investigating the incident.
