According to KYTN, The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said 32-year-old Jessica Quarles was identified by authorities as the person responsible for the murders.
The Obion County Grand Jury returned an indictment on Monday for the shooting deaths of one-year-old Landrie Harris and 11-year-old McKenna Young at their home June 13th in Kenton, just south of Union City.
Quarles was taken to a Memphis hospital after sustaining stabbing injuries in the incident.
She was arrested Monday and taken to the Obion County Jail without bond.
