Alabama quarterback and NFL draft prospect Ty Simpson will headline a special "Faith, Family and Football" event at McCracken County High School on March 28, giving local families, athletes, and football fans an opportunity to hear firsthand about his journey from small-town standout to the national stage.
Simpson, a former Westview High School star from Martin, Tennessee, rose to prominence as a five-star recruit before signing with the University of Alabama. After waiting his turn in a competitive quarterback room, he stepped into a starting role and helped lead the Crimson Tide through a high-profile season that placed him squarely on NFL radars.
Earlier this month, Simpson completed workouts at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis and is now preparing for Alabama's Pro Day. With the NFL draft just weeks away, analysts continue to evaluate his arm strength, decision-making, and leadership qualities as he prepares for the next chapter.
But the upcoming McCracken County event is about more than football.
Simpson will share lessons learned along the way — including the role that faith played in navigating recruiting pressure, competition, adversity, and opportunity.
The evening is being hosted by the Crimson Club, a local organization dedicated to supporting student-athletes and strengthening athletics at McCracken County High School. Proceeds from the event will go toward ongoing investments in coaching, player development, and athletic resources.
Tickets are available now at thecrimsonclub.org . General admission begins at $19.95 for students and $29.95 for adults, with premium and exclusive floor seating options also available.
