Here's a list of Friday's high school results, with some local recaps:

Paducah Tilghman  35   Franklin-Simpson  14
Tilghman got back in the win column in a key district matchup.

DJ Wilson led the Tornado rushing attack, racking up 114 yards on 17 carries with a touchdown. Quarterback Stone Crowe also ran for a couple of TDs.

Cam Wade caught 8 Crowe passes for 109 yards, and Avery Thompson had 10 catches for 73 yards.

Elias McPike made a big defensive play when he scooped up a third-quarter fumble and carried it 41 yards to the house.

The Tornado stay in the district next Friday when they host Allen County-Scottsville at McRight Field. Hear the game at 6:30 on SuperTalk 94.3 WKYX.

McCracken fumbled on their opening drive, and Union County (1-4) pounced with a 53-yard TD run on their opening play to jump ahead 7-0. 

McCracken countered with a 43-yard Brock Wilson field goal, then running back Landon Newman found the end zone on their next drive, and the Mustangs (2-3) never looked back.

It's a huge Homecoming matchup for McCracken on Friday with the 5-0 Murray Tigers. Kickoff 7 p.m. at Marquette Stadium on 99.5 The Fan.
