High school basketball's Players of the Year revealed

As high school basketball's regular season came to a close last week, each region's boys and girls Player of the Year were awarded over the weekend.

The Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches made the selections, who will each be in the running for the title of Kentucky Mister and Miss Basketball.

Among the boys, Miles Woodfork of McCracken County was named the Region 1 Player of the Year. In Region 2, Bray Kirk of Lyon County was selected.

For the girls, Sayler Lowe of Calloway County was chosen in Region 1, and Atylia Green of Henderson County was honored in Region 2.

Kentucky's Mister and Miss Basketball winners will be revealed on March 22 in Lexington.
