The Lady Cardinals scored after back-to-back singles in the top of the first when Irelynn Burns, who has hit in 9 straight games, reached on an error, and Addison Tramble was able to cross the plate. Then Baylee Neal laid down a bunt single that plated two more. Livingston got two more runs across in the second to take a 5-0 lead.
Brooklyn Tackett singled home the only run of the game for Lyon County. That was one of just three hits allowed by Tramble, who also struck out 9.
Livingston Central heads back to the All-A Classic in Owensboro on April 25th and 26th in an attempt to win the state title 3 years in a row.
