McCracken defeats Sayre 6-1, vaults into Final Four of state baseball tourney

The McCracken County Mustangs continued their winning ways at the Kentucky state baseball tournament in Lexington.

The Mustangs won their second game in two days with a quarterfinal win over Sayre 6-1 on Saturday.

McCracken (33-8) moves into the semifinal round, and a matchup on Friday, June 12 against Boyd County (28-7).

The winner will meet in the state championship on Saturday against either Apollo (23-12) or Trinity (39-3).
