Murray State athletics receives anonymous $1.25 million gift

Murray State Athletics has received a transformational $1.25 million anonymous gift from a generous family of longtime Racer supporters in Murray.

The commitment will support the Vision For Excellence Fund as part of Murray State Athletics' historic Leading The Pack campaign.

The investment will provide resources to advance departmental strategic initiatives, ongoing capital projects and revenue sharing while giving Racer Athletics additional flexibility to address emerging opportunities within the rapidly-evolving landscape of intercollegiate athletics.

More than $60 million worth of capital projects for athletics have already been completed or that are currently ongoing. 

Most notably, the transformation of the CFSB Center is moving closer to completion as basketball season approaches.

Murray State Athletics has raised $54 million dollars in support of new facilities, initiatives and championship resources as part of the department's bold, comprehensive $100 million fundraising campaign, Leading The Pack, which was created to further position itself for the future by investing in student-athlete success, revenue share and competitive resources and world-class facilities.
