Notre Dame transfer Kenny Minchey, who had committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Sunday, flipped Monday to sign with Kentucky.
Minchey spent three seasons at Notre Dame as a four-star prospect from Hendersonville, TN. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Minchey played in six games for Notre Dame in backup duty, throwing for 196 yards on 20-of-26 passing with 96 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Kentucky lost its freshman quarterback Cutter Boley to the portal after he threw for 2,160 yards and 15 touchdowns. Boley landed at Arizona State.
Arizona State's Sam Leavitt visited the UK campus over the weekend and was said to be visiting LSU, but he has reportedly committed to Texas Tech.
In the USA Today portal rankings, Leavitt was listed as the No. 1 quarterback available, Minchey was No. 10, and Boley was No. 18.
