Cars & Guitars takes over downtown Paducah Saturday

Starting this Saturday in historic downtown Paducah, Cars & Guitars will host a summer and fall celebration of automotive culture and live music. 

Four Cars & Guitars events will take over the riverfront on May 23, June 20, September 19 and October 17.

On those selected Saturday afternoons and evenings, auto enthusiasts, music lovers, and the local community are invited to gather downtown to enjoy the prized vehicles and onstage performances on display among the downtown bars, restaurants, shops, galleries and museums.

If you want to display your vehicle, it needs to be parked by 3 pm. There's a $5 registration fee, first come first served until the limited parking spots are taken up.

Visitors can start wandering downtown after 4pm, and activities will continue until 8 pm. Awards for the vehicles will be announced at 7pm.

Musical genres will include classic rock, blues, country and acoustic.
