Several western Kentucky schools have received TVA STEM classroom awards through their annual Robotics Award Program for the new school year.
The awards are to offset the cost of a school's robotics team or entering competitions.
This year's recipients of $5000 are Fulton Independent Schools; Mayfield Middle School; Calloway Middle School; Calloway County High School; Murray Middle School; the Boys and Girls Club of Hopkinsville-Christian County and Gateway Academy in Hopkinsville.
TVA has offered the STEM classroom awards since 2015.
