Drug charge for Illinois man after dispute in Murray

A dispute on Saturday night in Murray ended with a drug charge for an Illinois man. 

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home on Cypress Trail at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday. While sorting out the situation, deputies reportedly discovered that 38-year-old Cory J. Green of Fieldon, Illinois had illegal drugs on his person. 

Deputies arrested Green and charged him with methamphetamine and marijuana possession. He was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
