Western Kentucky gas price falls another dime this week

Gas prices in western and central Kentucky are ten cents lower this week, at an average of $2.47 per gallon.

According to AAA East Central's Gas Price Report, the holiday season is delivering a gift for all drivers nationwide, as the national average is now at $2.91, which is the lowest price in four years.

In western and central Kentucky, the average prices range from a high in Louisville of $2.54, to a low in Owensboro of $2.38. The average price in Paducah this week is $2.45.

At this time last year, the average price nationwide was $3.04 per gallon.
