Another crash at Old Mayfield and Krebs Station sent two to the hospital

Another crash at the intersection of Old Mayfield Road and Krebs Station sent two people to the hospital.

The crash happened along Krebs Station just before 7 p.m. Thursday when a westbound SUV driven by 28-year-old Victoria McCaig of Tennessee crashed into a second SUV driven by 74-year-old Connie Rodgers of Boaz, Kentucky. Rodgers and her passenger were both taken to the hospital for treatment.

Emergency personnel worked for about an hour to clear the scene.

It was the second crash in as many days at that intersection. Another occurred on Wednesday.
