Traffic stop leads to arrest of two women in Graves County

A Friday morning traffic stop in Mayfield leads to the arrest of two women on several drug related charges.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office conducted a stop on a vehicle in Mayfield.  A vehicle search was conducted and resulted in the discovery of crack cocaine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.

Taken into custody were 63-year-old Kathy A. Copeland of Evans, Colorado and 45-year-old Shenica S. Mangrum of Mayfield. 

Copeland was charged with possession of a controlled substance, prescription not in a proper container, drug paraphernalia and traffic offenses,   

Mangrum was charged with possessioh of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were lodged in an out of county detenion facility.
