Bartleman, Parker win commission nominations

1st District Commissioner Bill Bartleman and former 2nd District Commissioner Jeff Parker have won their respective nominations.

Bartleman won the 1st District nomination over Danielle Guminski and Jeff Lee by a significant margin. He collected 68% of the nearly 5,500 votes cast in that race.

Parker looks to rejoin the Fiscal Court, replacing Richard Abraham, who gave up that seat to run for Judge-Executive. Parker defeated former McCracken County Jailer David Knight by about 900 votes.
