A trespassing complaint in Marshall County on Sunday ended in a Benton man's arrest on assault and other charges.
Deputies responded to a home on Rudd Lane after a woman told dispatch that Raymond Ryle was at her home and causing trouble after he was told not to show up.
The victim told authorities that Ryle had been drinking prior to his arrival and had drank alcohol at her house. Ryle was reportedly asked to leave several times, but refused and began damaging the victim's property.
Deputies said Ryle was found laying face down at the home and refused to speak with deputies. He was detained and eventually arrested.
While trying to get Ryle into the cruiser, he allegedly started causing more trouble. After a brief struggle he was taken to the Marshall County jail.
Ryle was charged with criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, assault of a police officer, and public intoxication.
