A Bowling Green man was arrested on Monday after being found slumped over behind the wheel of his truck in Burna.
Deputies with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office were called when someone spotted 36-year-old Brian Bender of Bowling Green slumped over in his truck just off U.S. 60. The deputies reportedly determined that Bender was under the influence of an impairing substance. Their search of the truck is said to have uncovered about five grams of what was believed to be methamphetamine.
Bender was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked license, and not having insurance.
