Bridge repair will close section of Cairo Road next week

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is planning a three-day closure of a bridge on Cairo Road in McCracken County starting Tuesday.

A crew will be repairing a bridge deck on KY 305 near Carr Road, between Commerce Drive and Olivet Church Road. Cairo Road will be unavailable for through traffic during the repairs. Through traffic will be directed to Commerce Drive.

Work is expected to begin Tuesday morning, and that section of Cairo Road is expected to reopen on Thursday afternoon.
