A Burna man was arrested Thursday on drug and DUI charges after getting clocked at 20mph over the speed limit.
A Livingston County Sheriff’s deputy spotted a vehicle speeding along US 60 and reportedly clocked it at 75mph in a 55mph zone. The driver, 63-year-old Donald Moore Jr. of Burna, is said to have had drugs on him and in his vehicle. Moore allegedly resisted arrest as the deputy tried to take him into custody, forcing the deputy to use what was described as “less-lethal means” to subdue him.
Moore was charged with DUI, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, speeding 20mph over the limit, reckless driving, and resisting arrest.
