The owners of the Calvert Drive-In will be honored this week with an award from the Kentucky Small Business Development Center.

Seth and Tabitha Manea will be among those honored with the 2024 Kentucky Small Business Development Center Pacesetter Award. The award singles out start-up or traditional businesses "that are producing innovative products, increasing sales, creating jobs, and serving communities of the Commonwealth."

Robert Coffey, SBA Kentucky district office director, “It is a great honor to recognize such incredible small business owners throughout Kentucky. We champion these remarkable entrepreneurs and celebrate the impact they make in their communities and statewide.”

The ceremony will take place this Friday in the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort.

The Maneas bought the drive-in last spring and are beginning their second season operating the Calvert City institution.
