Charges sought after driver leaves I-24 crash in Lyon County

Charges are being sought against a driver who left the scene of a Lyon County crash early Saturday morning along I-24.

Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies said they were called just after 3 a.m. Saturday to the 48-mile marker, but the driver was gone when they arrived. The pickup truck involved was reportedly totaled.

Deputies were able to eventually identify the driver after that individual went to a Clarksville hospital for medical attention.

Charges are pending in the case.
