According to WPKY, the Christian County Sheriff's Office responded to a collision report on Princeton Road around 5:30 pm.
The investigation found that 78-year-old Lonnie Scott, of Dawson Springs, was attempting to turn left onto Bainbridge Loop, but did not check his mirror to see if another vehicle was attempting to pass.
Deputies said 46-year-old Terrence Hall, of Princeton, attempted to pass Scott's vehicle when the crash occurred, which sent Hall's vehicle into a ditch.
Hall, and his passenger, 51-year-old Catherine Hall, were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
Four other passengers in Hall's vehicle, ranging in age from eight to fifty-six years old, were also taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment.
Scott and his passenger, 25-year-old Joseph King, of Princeton, declined medical treatment at the scene.
