Storm last week caused Lyon County crash that injured one

Storms last week were behind a crash in Lyon County that injured one person.

Just after 4 a.m. last Monday, a crash occurred along KY 3171 when a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Cody S. Bolk of Marion collided with a tree that had fallen across the road. Investigators said the tree fell and Bolk didn’t see it in time to avoid the crash.

Bolk, who did suffer some injuries, was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
