Four Georgia residents arrested on drug, gun charges in Marshall County

Marshall County deputies arrested four Georgia residents on drug charges on Saturday.

Deputies observed a pickup truck towing a side-by-side utility vehicle traveling in the middle of Vanzora Lane and nearly colliding head-on with a patrol vehicle.

Deputies stopped the pickup near Brewers Highway and conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle using the department's Narcotics K-9. A positive alert indicated the presence of illegal narcotics.

A search resulted in the discovery of suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, and suspected fentanyl, along with digital scales, a quantity of cash believed to be proceeds from illegal narcotics trafficking, and multiple firearms. 

Deputies arrested 48-year-old Matthew T. Davis, 45-year-old Darlyn P. Allen, 46-year-old Joshua V. Terza, and 24-year-old Sarah R. Bross-West. All four were charged with multiple counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.

A criminal history check was conducted, and revealed that Allen and Terza had previous felony convictions that prohibited them from possessing firearms.

All four were lodged at the Marshall County Detention Center.
