Clarksville Police officer charged in domestic violence case

A Clarksville Police officer has been arrested and charged in a domestic violence case.

A probe by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation into the allegations against 38-year-old Officer Alan Greenman was launched on Wednesday. Investigators believe that Greenman had threatened and assaulted a female victim earlier on Wednesday. By Wednesday night, agents had arrested Greenman, charging him with aggravated domestic assault and aggravated kidnapping in the case.

Greenman was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and held on $75,000 bond.
