Collision involving bicycle claims life of Lyon County man

A Wednesday evening crash claimed the life of a Lyon County bicyclist.

Authorities said 67-year-old Newton Holt of Kuttawa was traveling on KY-93 North, when he struck a bicyclist identified as 28-year-old Sean King, also of Kuttawa.

King was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said sun glare is believed to be the reason Holt failed to see King.

The accident is under further investigation.
