A Paducah man was taken into custody Saturday in Marshall County.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said 19-year-old William Moore of Paducah was arrested when deputies arrived at a residence on Hawkeye Road in reference to ATVs on the roadway.
When deputies arrived at the residence Moore ran inside the residence. He was found to have a warrant for his arrest and fled from deputies on foot.
Moore and had an active bench warrant issued out of Carlisle County District Court. He jumped into a vehicle as a passenger and was ordered to exit the vehicle.
Moore refused and was then removed from the vehicle. He resisted being placed in handcuffs and was finally cuffed and transported to jail.
Moore admitted that he knew he had an outstanding warrant.
