Crash in Mayfield sends one to hospital

A crash on Tuesday in Mayfield sent one person to the hospital.

The collision occurred near South 6th Street and East College Street. Mayfield Police said a collision occurred between the vehicles of 27-year-old Lucas Thompson and 23-year-old Christian Cherry, both of Mayfield. The crash did damage to the front of both vehicles.

Thompson was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center with what were believed to be minor injuries.
