Obscene materials reportedly distributed to some Lyon, Livingston, Crittenden churches

An investigation is underway concerning obscene matter being distributed by an individual to a number of churches and government buildings in Lyon, Livingston and Crittenden counties.

Sheriff's departments have received numerous reports, and each have opened investigations in their county.

They each advise that if you find these items stuck in the door of a church or public building, do not touch them, but instead call your sheriff's office. They will dispatch a deputy to collect it and process it as evidence.

One sheriff reported that at least one rural church had captured images of a male suspect on their security camera, and the identity of that person is being sought.
