A rear-end collision on KY 80 east of Mayfield resulted in DUI charges for a Calloway County woman.
Graves County deputies responded to the intersection with KY 940.
They determined that a pickup driven by 30-year-old Seth Arnett came to a stop in the turn lane waiting for traffic to clear the intersection.
Meanwhile, 37-year-old Trisia Miller of Calloway County merged behind Arnett in the turn lane but struck Arnett’s vehicle in the rear, pushing Arnett’s vehicle across both lanes of KY 80.
Miller was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of possible minor injuries. Field sobriety testing determined Miller to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages. After she was medically cleared at the hospital she was arrested and transported to an out of county facility.
Arnett and his children, ages 1 and 3, were wearing seat belts and were not injured.
Miller was charged with wanton endangerment, and DUI 3rd Offense – Aggravating Circumstance.
