Dorena Hickman ferry back open as Mississippi River rises

The Dorena-Hickman ferry is back open today.

The ferry had been unable to operate because of low water on the Mississippi River since last Thursday.

The ferry is running on its normal winter schedule. The last run from Kentucky is at 4:15 p.m. and last run from Missouri is at 4:30 p.m.
