Dorena Hickman ferry back open as Mississippi River rises

The Dorena Hickman ferry is back open today. The ferry has been closed since Dec. 4 because of low water on the Mississippi River.

The ferry is operating on its winter schedule. The last run from Kentucky is at 4:15 p.m. and last run from Missouri is at 4:30 p.m.

The ferry accepts cash only.
